The Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake’s 43rd Annual Shrimp Feast

Thank you to everyone who came out to The Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake's 43rd Annual Shrimp Feast!

We love getting to be a part of The Shrimp Feast every year, but it was extra special this year as we were the leading sponsor. Giving back to the community that has given so much to us over the last 30 years was truly rewarding. Not only did we get to kick off the Chesapeake Jubilee and have incredible food, but we had such a great time getting to do it with hundreds of people from The Hampton Roads area!

In addition, The Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake holds special significance to Hackworth's President, Charles G. (Charlie) Hackworth. Charlie joined in 1981...which makes him a 41-year member. He has served all elected club officer positions (currently Treasurer) including the Capital District Lt. Governor, 21st Division. Awards include Kiwanian of the Year, Distinguished Lt. Governor Award, Kiwanis Life Member and Hixson Award (highest Kiwanis award).

Needless to say, Charlie was with the Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake long before he and his wife, Dorothy, founded Hackworth. The club has seen the company grow from the ground up, making it such a cool opportunity to give back to a group that has given so much support to the company since it began.

We also celebrated the 10th anniversary of our sister company, The Graphics Shop, and debuted their new logo for the very first time at The Shrimp Feast! Our incredible team at The Graphics Shop custom wrapped 3 Yetis to giveaway to three lucky winners as a thank you for 10 phenomenal years of business!

We are grateful to everyone who came out and we hope to see you next year! In the meantime, come by our office and see us for any of your graphics, printing, or technology needs. We'd be happy to serve you!
